Seasonal Affective Disorder--increasingly known as SAD, appropriately--is a mood disorder that affects sufferers seasonally. Symptoms generally begin in the fall and ease in the spring. More information can be found here:

Talk therapy with a counselor that you trust will usually help mood symptoms of depression and also of anxiety to lessen.
